Adam Stonebraker

Adam began meditating in 2000 and practicing yoga in 2002, with meditation deeply shaping his approach from the start. Drawn to slower, introspective practices, he found a natural home in Yin Yoga—seeing it as a powerful tool for self-inquiry and for maintaining a vibrant physical and energetic body. He began teaching Yin at a Modo Yoga studio in 2012, eventually falling in love with the Modo Yoga practice, which led him to complete the Modo Yoga Foundational Teacher Training. Adam has since led classes, retreats, and trainings around the world, with a passion for weaving contemplative practice into modern yoga. His main influences include Sarah & Ty Powers, Paul & Suzee Grilley, Joe Barnett, Kittisaro and Thanissara, and Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche.

Rosanna Marouelli

Rosanna has been part of the Modo Yoga community since completing her teacher training in India in 2008. She opened Modo Yoga Barrie in 2011, now an award-winning studio recognized for its welcoming atmosphere and over $105,000 raised for local charities. With over 25 years as a Registered Massage Therapist, Rosanna brings a grounded teaching approach that blends her love of anatomy with a deep understanding of the mind–body connection. She holds a BA in Gerontology, has taught in the Health Sciences Department at Georgian College, and serves on an advisory board at the college. As part of the Modo Yin faculty, she is passionate about helping students learn to teach with presence, reflection, and care.
