Theresa believes that Yoga is the key to understanding ourselves more fully – body, mind and spirit. Theresa discovered Yoga during her own healing journey in 2014 and began to develop a practice which resulted in a deep transformational experience. She went on to complete her Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 in classical Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga with a focus on mobility and alignment. She quickly discovered that her passion as a teacher was in Restorative and Restorative Yin, as well as in facilitating a deepening relationship with the breath through Pranayama and Meditation. As a woman of Anishinaabe Ojibwe heritage, Theresa allow’s the lessons of her ancestry to infuse her teaching, which has led to an even deeper understanding of the healing impact of Yoga as a Student and as a Teacher. She believes that the body is always listening to you- to every thought, every feeling. Through breath and stillness and movement you can infuse the body with Metta; Loving Kindness. Theresa believes that when you arrive on your mat, you are answering the whispers of your soul’s calling to know yourself more fully. She looks forward to meeting you all there.
