covid symptoms poster

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT STUDIO
Must pre-register for class (no walk-ins) by using our Modo Yoga APP or website. We are currently limited to a 10 person capacity as per Simcoe County’s current restrictions. We are adding many more classes to do our best at accommodating you.
Need to cancel your reservation? Please complete your cancellation a minimum of 3 hours prior to the start of class. If you do not show up for class, or do not cancel within the 3 hour window prior to your class start time, you will be charged a $20 NON-REFUNDABLE fee.
The studio doors will be open 20 minutes before class and close 15 minutes after class. Doors will be locked promptly at the start of class.
Fill up your water bottle at home.
Change into your yoga active wear attire at home/before arriving to the studio.
Arrive with a mask. If you do not have one, we will provide masks for a charge.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE
Everyone will be wearing masks in the common areas at all times.
Social distancing stickers have been placed on the floor throughout the entire studio to ensure that social distancing is being practiced at all times.
We have a plexiglass barrier at the front desk.
Daily temperature checks conducted for all staff members at the start of their shift. Plus temperature checks on students when arriving to practice.
Touchless hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the studio.
Hospital grade cleaning supplies are being used consistently.
Blocks, straps, mat and towel rentals will not be available at the studio.
We will not be accepting cash during a transaction. Only debit or credit. Feel free to update your credit card on your profile to make purchasing simple.
We use a LifeBreath, commercial grade, heat recovery ventilation (HRV) system that constantly purifies the air in the hot yoga room. This creates a maximum clean air flow design.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Cubby space at the front entrance is limited. Please only arrive with the necessities for your practice (mat, towel, water from home, props).
Please respect social distancing and line up outside of the studio. Please wait your turn to enter the studio.
The showers and change rooms will not be available during this time, as well as the water station outside the hot room doors.

IN THE HOT ROOM/DURING CLASS
You will enter the studio and hot room space wearing your mask. Once you’ve arrived on your mat, you may remove your mask for your yoga practice.
When entering the hot room, one of our volunteers will be assisting you on where to go. We will begin by filling the perimeters of the hot room first, and then followed by each row (starting at the mirror and making our way towards the entrance door).
You must use the pre-determined mat markers. These spaces have been thoroughly measured for social distance spacing.
The teacher will remain on their mat the entire class and guide you from there.
Breathing during your practice will be in and out through the nose. We have taken out pranayama and kapalabhati breathing.
No hands-on adjustments.

AFTER CLASS
The teacher will include Savasana at the end of your practice and will instruct students to exit row by row.
Be mindful of social distancing when you are ready to leave the hot room.
Please do not linger in the common areas.
Remember your personal belongings.
Please bring your recyclables (water bottles) home with you.
The studio doors will be locked 15 minutes after class.

IMPORTANT CHANGES
During this time we will be limiting our front desk contact, please email or call for questions and assistance.
Consider bathrooms at the studio for emergency use only.
Ask for assistance on retail items.
Please do not touch what you are not going to buy.
We miss you all, and our goal is to provide a safe place for you during this time.
We are committed to offering the absolute best hot yoga experience possible with the guidelines and measures that we must meet.
