Mary Anne originally started exploring yoga as a way to balance her busy mind and move her body. She had trained extensively in many forms of dance and figure skating which has instilled a deep sense of curiosity in moving the body with breath. Her progression into yoga felt so natural for her and she became hooked in 2012. In 2015, she became certified in 350 hours of Vinyasa teacher training. She practiced faithfully and consistently for 6 years straight and in 2018 took the leap to become a certified MODO instructor, taking her training in scenic Nicaragua.
Every time she steps into the hot room and onto her mat, her practice feels like this beautiful expression, coming from her core in dance and ballet. She wishes to guide her fellow yogis through the same feeling she gets and knows it’s so incredibly rewarding to share this practice with the world and gets inspiration from the dedication of her students every time she practices with them. Mary Anne feels so blessed to have found a home in MODO Yoga and thanks to her teachers, family, and fellow yogis for welcoming her into this beautiful community.
