With a lifelong passion for movement, Alyssa brings a unique blend of artistry, athleticism, and musicality to every Pilates class at Modo Yoga Barrie. Growing up immersed in the world of dance, she trained in a wide range of styles, building a deep understanding of the body through years of disciplined movement.
Outside the studio, Alyssa has always been drawn to rhythm and sound, playing in bands and exploring different instruments — a love for music that naturally flows into her teaching style.
She discovered Pilates in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the way it deepened her connection to both body and mind. For Alyssa, Pilates is more than just a workout — it’s a powerful tool for self-awareness, strength, and healing. She’s passionate about helping others discover that same connection in their own practice!
