WE ARE OPEN

To all students of Modo Yoga Bloor West, please know that we stand with you, both as a valued member of our community, and the valued human being whom we trust to make the best choice for your own body and your community. Since we have reopened post-lockdown, we have stated this on the front door of our sacred shared space and continue to hold this belief.

The Government of Ontario recently announced that presenting proof of vaccination will be required to access a list of non-essential businesses, including yoga and movement studios. This means that as of September 22, 2021 anyone practicing in studio at Modo Yoga Bloor West will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated.

When will I show my vaccination receipt? Will I need to present it each time?
If you are fully vaccinated, visit this link to obtain your official vaccination receipt, and bring it with you to the studio. Upon us receiving your proof of vaccination, a staff member will update your profile on our system indicating that you have met this government requirement, meaning you will only need to present this document once.
If I have chosen to forgo the vaccine for now or forever, what are my options?
For anyone not fully vaccinated, know that we respect your choice and will always look for ways to continue to supporting you. We welcome you to our virtual studio, which provides many flexible options.
If you are vaccinated, we Love you. If you are unvaccinated, we Love you.

Please know that you and your presence in this community are important, needed and cared for. This means that safety, respect, and the well-being of our entire community remain our greatest priority. We will continue to abide by provincial laws and the precautions from Health Canada, including wearing masks, physical distancing, sanitizing, screening, etc.

We continue to be inspired by this community; appreciating your care, cooperation and kindness for all as each of us navigates these new experiences. We would also like to extend an invitation to read September’s Letter From the Director. It is a gentle suggestion to prioritize how we are treating and meeting one another in this very new and challenging time, inviting us to look for opportunities to extend more care, compassion, and empathy in effort to unite and support one another.

With deep gratitude,

MYBW Management

As the temperature falls, and the need for a hot (or warm) class increases, we are delighted to be able to add a few more mats to our practice room. With the loosening of restrictions, we have increased the number of mats to 33 + the teacher’s mat. We move forward together, with faith and Love, excited to be able to welcome more people to share space with.

RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

Probably our most significant new reality at MYBW is the mandatory reduction of yoga mats allowed in the practice room, in support of physical distancing. This change means that every space in the room is now considered premium real estate when it comes to the financial vitality of the business. This reality leaves us no choice but to enforce some new policies. Considering these new circumstances, every bit of income is needed for the future of MYBW, and we thank you for your cooperation.

  • Preregistration is mandatory for all classes.
No Drop-Ins. Registration closes 30 minutes before class begins.Late Cancellation / No-Show Fee
Due to reduced capacity in prioritizing your safety, a firm 4-hour cancellation policy is in effect. This is an important shift for Unlimited Members and Class-Pass Holders in order to ensure fairness to you and your fellow yogis, and to ensure we remain operational as a business. Unlimited passes/memberships will be charged a ‘late cancellation fee of $10. Students practicing on a class pass (ie. a 10-Class Pass) will be deducted one class from your pass.Cancellations/No-Shows:

EXTENDING PASSES THAT EXPIRE

  • Time-limited passes (ie. $60 Intro Months, sale passes) will be extended for the entire period that the studio is closed unless you choose to use your pass to take Zoom classes, or decide not to extend to support the studio by buying a new pass. Due to the nature of the software, extensions can only be applied when upon our reopening, so if you have a pass that expires, please email us so we can adjust the dates for you manually.
