JOGA is a non-heated athletic based style of yoga that incorporates a unique blend of postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation tools to find balance in strength and flexibility, improve breath control/recovery and maintain a calm mind in sport and in life. It focuses on the mechanics and movements of athletes and athletic movements and is a program specifically designed to enhance athletic performance and injury prevention.
The movements/postures in the JOGA program are the same every time and are infiltrated with bench mark postures so practitioners can test their own results in terms of finding a balance of strength and flexibility. The focus of JOGA is to educate participants about the mechanics of the body, how to move within the body’s limitations, and overall awareness of body intelligence.
