Trystan (also known as Try) established his connection to physical and mental exercises from a young age through his relationship and upbringing from his grandfather – who was a Ju Jitsu sensei. He has been practicing yoga and pilates for more than a decade, a passion he discovered in 2005 while attending the University of Toronto. In 2011, he was introduced to Modo Yoga and shortly after began his journey into becoming a certified instructor.
Living with entrepreneurs (his family owns a bridal boutique in downtown Toronto), along with an extensive background in marketing and advertising in high-pace, high-stress brand agency environments – Modo Yoga has been a constant, positive force in Trystan’s life – offering a space to connect with the body, breath and supportive community while providing the essential tools to handle life’s burdens and challenges.
Trystan goal is to offer students a safe space to start or dive deeper into their own mindfulness practice, connecting to their true authentic self on-and-off the mat.
“Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.” – Gail Devers
