Hey there! I dove headfirst into the awesome world of yoga back in 2017 and haven’t looked back since. Completed my Modo teacher training in July 2022, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer both personally and professionally.
Yoga’s not just a workout routine for me; it’s become this daily thing I do for myself. Taking a breather, energizing with some breathwork, and giving my mind and body the attention they deserve. It’s made me stronger, not just physically but emotionally too. In this fast-paced world, being a go-getter, I sometimes forget to hit pause and appreciate what’s right in front of me. Besides being a yoga enthusiast, I’m also an educator in the Peel District School Board. And guess what? Yoga isn’t just a personal thing for me—it’s something I’ve seen work wonders for the youth. It’s like this secret weapon that gets them moving, in touch with their feelings, and laser-focused in school. Deep breaths and mindfulness? Turns out they’re like magic tools for dealing with stress, anxiety, and all that good stuff.
