My yoga journey began at Modo Yoga Brampton in 2011 when I was recovering from years of being a dancer, where I then discovered the deeper meaning of the practice in my day to day. Yoga has been a guiding force in my life, offering balance, grounding, and a deep connection to my roots.

I completed my first 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa YTT in 2018 with Yandara Yoga Institute on the Big Island of Hawaii. This immersive, off-the-grid experience was a personal journey to find balance amidst a demanding work life (fun fact—I was there when the volcano erupted!). In 2023, I pursued a second 200-hour Ashtanga-based YTT with Soul School in Mexico, where I also became certified in Level 1 Reiki and completed an embodiment training. Most recently, in 2024, I completed a 75-hour yoga mentorship with Yoga Flow in San Francisco, where I spent time teaching and assisting top instructors in the Bay Area.

With a background in classical Indian dance for over a decade and a lifelong immersion in yoga, meditation, and breathwork, my teaching is deeply rooted in tradition and introspection, incorporating elements of yoga philosophy, breathwork, meditation, chakra-focused themes, hands-on adjustments and sensory elements such as scents or instruments.

Returning to Modo Yoga Brampton feels like a full-circle moment and an opportunity to share my passion with the very community that brought me deep peace at a young age, and introduced me to truly a life changing practice.
