Angela Graham

Angela (she/her) first stepped into a then Moksha Yoga class in 2006. She was at the time studying at the University of Waterloo. She initially fell in love with the physical challenge and sweat of it all, but over time her practice and the (now) Modo community became so much more.

Struggling with anxiety and mental health challenges, the hot room was one of the few places she could calm her mind and leave ‘leave it all on the mat’. In 2013 Angela joined Modo Etobicoke as an Ambassador where her connection to the community and her passion for her practice on and off her mat deepened.

In 2019 Angela joined the Staff at Modo Brantford and in 2021 she completed her Level 1 Teacher Training (online during a whole pandemic no less!). She dove head first into teaching and is loving every single minute of it.

Angela is inspired to share practical ways to regulate ones nervous system and to cultivate feeling good in body through accessible yet challenging yoga classes. These classes are geared to ALL. Angela also completed her Flow Training in May 2022 and still loves a good sweat!

Outside of teaching yoga, Angela operates a dog walking and pet sitting business (being OBSESSED with animals), and also works as a freelance environmental consultant (a self proclaimed environment nerd). When she isn’t working, teaching, or making time for her practice, you’ll likely find her outside with her 2 beautiful husky dogs.
