In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature and spending time with her son Bryce and her family, the cornerstone of her own health and wellness.

On why she practices yoga:

“I practice yoga because it makes me feel strong and confident. For those 60 minutes on the mat, nothing else matters. I can take off all my hats—I don’t have to be a mom, a partner, a daughter, a sibling, a coworker, or a therapist. I don’t have to be anything except my imperfect self.

Yoga gives me the invaluable gift of space to just be. It’s a time where I can reconnect with myself and let go of the roles and responsibilities that define my day-to-day life. That sense of presence, of simply existing as I am, is more valuable to me than anything I could ever own or financially acquire.

And that’s why I practice.”
