Eric is a husband and father, activist, zen practitioner, and former research scientist in Cognitive & Quantitative Psychology. Yoga wakes him up to the beauty and joy of life. It helps him to stay strong, pliable, and aware so he can be more helpful in the world. He came to yoga postures by way of pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation. Eric is trained in Modo Level 1 & 2, Modo Flow, Modo Fit, and Yin. He teaches breath-centred yoga classes that focus on “just the right amount”: the right amount of effort and ease, awareness, strength, flexibility, mindfulness, history, ethics, and repetition. For Eric, the breath is the key to strength, emotional stability, and joy. As co-owner of the Modo Yoga St Catharines in Ontario, he now splits his time between BC and Ontario.
