I love the Modo community because it really is a welcoming place for all. Modo creates a fostering environment to improve one’s health both mentally and physically. It’s all about the people who come with you on your journey and the people I’ve met through Modo have been nothing but supportive, passionate and caring!
I teach yoga to share this powerful practice with other individuals looking for space to slow down and connect more fully to life as it happens. My hope is that each student leaves class feeling a little lighter and more inspired than when they walked in.

If I were an animal, I would be a dog. They are active, adventurous and loving. They appreciate the little things in life!
If I had one day completely to myself in Columbus, I would start my day with a yoga practice at Modo. After yoga, I’d grab a smoothie from Alchemy and then bike or walk a few miles on the Scioto Mile. After working up an appetite, I’d hit a late lunch on a patio in the Short North and head home to read on my porch!
I’d have to say my favorite yoga pose is Wild Thing (Camatkarasana). It’s such a playful pose and brings an element of dance into the practice.
If I could only eat at one Columbus restaurant for the rest of my life, I’d have to go with Northstar Cafe.
