Student / Teacher

Why do you love the Modo community?

I love how welcoming everyone at Modo is, the variety of classes, and the amazing energy I get every time I practice there. And I also love to see everyone’s dogs wandering around and welcoming students.

Why do you teach yoga?

I teach yoga because it has given me so many benefits, physically and mentally, and I want to share that with others.

What yoga certifications do you have?

200-hour RYT (2017), 20-hour Yin (2019)

If you were an animal, what would it be?

A wild horse

You have one day completely to yourself in Columbus.  What do you do?

I would enjoy a leisurely start to the day, then take my dog to one of the local dog parks. In the afternoon, I’d go to either the art museum or the Franklin Park Conservatory, then to yoga at Modo of course. And I’d end the day with a nice dinner at some fun new restaurant because it seems like there are always new places I want to try.

What’s your favorite yoga pose and why?

I think my favorite pose is pigeon. I love a good hip opener, and I like that pigeon can be modified in so many different ways.

You can only eat at one Columbus restaurant for the rest of your life.  What is it?

I can’t pick just one.
