I love the welcome Modo extends from the minute I walk in the door to the moment I leave. It is a positive community that desires to support and care for one another.
Why do you teach yoga?
I teach yoga to share what I have been given. Everything I’ve learned is from someone else. It’s a joy to pass on life giving practices to others!
What yoga certifications do you have?
Modo Level 1 – 500 YTT, Modo Flow – 100 YTT and 200 YTT
If you were an animal, what would it be?
I think I’d be a bird that lives somewhere beautiful so I could soar through the beauty …and eat worms?
You have one day completely to yourself in Columbus. What do you do?
I would sleep in just a bit, sit on the couch with a cup of tea and enjoy some quiet. After that I’d get in a good workout and take my dog, Godric, to the dog park at the Grainger Audobon. The rest of the day may include some reading or coffee with a friend and One Line coffee in Franklinton, lunch at Brassica with my husband, Jared, and dinner out with the fam at Sow Plated. Sounds lovely!
What’s your favorite yoga pose and why?
Eagle is my favorite. I like the feeling of twisting my arms and legs tightly together. Balancing poses feel like a combo or focus and play!
You can only eat at one Columbus restaurant for the rest of your life. What is it?
