Modo feels like my home away from home. The energy is warm, inviting and contagious. When I first started practicing at Modo in 2017 I was hooked after my first class and came every day for 33 days in a row. I fell in love with the practice, the community, and the energy.

I would be a bird. Who doesn’t want to fly?!?
(Let’s assume this is a Saturday or Sunday) I would head to Modo for a sweaty yoga class first thing in the morning. After yoga I would head home to drink a hot cup of coffee, blast some tunes and take my time getting ready. I would then walk to meet friends and/or family at a local restaurant for brunch, then onto a metro park for a hike to get lost in the woods. To end the day we would head back home for some backyard grilling, yard games, a fire, tunes, and cocktails with friends. Who wants to join me?
My favorite yoga pose is Warrior II. I feel strong, confident, and challenged at the same time. In this pose I am always reminded to deepen my breath as I sink deeper into the pose.
