She became passionate about her own health and wellness after experiencing chronic back pain for many years. Massage therapy and self care were incredibly beneficial in her healing journey and it inspired her to pursue a career in massage therapy. Learning about body awareness and incorporating exercise into her daily life was so impactful, she now empowers others to do the same.
Amelia enjoys blending a combination of Swedish, relaxation massage, deep-tissue, myofacial, and structural-integration techniques to help her clients meet their goals. If your goals are to relax and de-stress, rehabilitate, or prevent injuries, Amelia focusses on creating a treatment plan that meets you where you are at, in a judgment free space. Her massage style is firm and uses smooth, consistent pressure. She treats everyone individually and works intuitively and collaboratively to find the root causes of discomfort, and make lasting improvements in your health.
Some of Amelia’s favourite pastimes are practicing yoga, cooking, riding bikes, and she strongly believes It’s never too cold to go swimming.
