What do you love about teaching? 

I love teaching yoga because I am happiest when I am helping and inspiring others. Because I believe in the rejuvenating, uplifting powers of yoga, I feel driven to encourage and support others to come to their mat and fall in love with their practice the way I have.

Deepen Your Practice Modo, Learn to Teach Level 1 Modo, Modo Flow, and Modo Calm.

What Modo Pillar do you connect with the most?

Be Community. I resonate most with this pillar because my East Van community, where I’ve lived for the past 25 years, is my lifeline and where my heart lives. My friendships and family connections run deep here. And I am stronger and happier because of the support I have surrounding me in my amazing community!

What do you do besides teaching yoga?

My three sporty, amazing boys keep me very busy with their own sports – and I hate to miss watching them play so you’ll find me on their sidelines often! I also volunteer for Loved at Last Dog Rescue, meeting and greeting our rescue dogs from overseas and uniting them with their new adopters – this work brings me immeasurable joy!

What’s your favourite after yoga treat?

Gotta have my Tulsi Tea from Matchstick after every practice. And carrot cake from The Epicurean makes the post-sweat perfect pair!
