What do you love about teaching? 

I enjoy being able to offer an escape from an overwhelming world. Time to land on the mat, away from screens, and to check-in with the body. Classes that I lead tend to be quieter yet encouraging and plenty sweaty.

What Modo Pillar do you connect with the most?

Be Peace. Life is short, I think working towards inner harmony and cultivating peace towards others is key to navigating through it.

What do you do besides teaching yoga?

I read a lot, and value time to myself in coffee shops to recharge. In fall and spring, I try to maintain a regular running schedule to be ready for races. Long conversations about dogs, public health, the Bond series, favourite books & anatomy are my fave.

What’s your favourite after yoga treat?

I’m obsessed with Sal y Limon burritos.
