Bio: When I walked into my first yoga class, I was seeking an opportunity to connect with other people in my community not necessarily interested in the practice itself. Over time, I realized that the benefits were clearly evident and these teachings have served me well for almost twenty years. I have always been athletic and initially, with just a once a week practice, I started noticing improvements to my agility, endurance, and recovery.
A few years later, I stepped into my first hot yoga class and absolutely fell in love with it. The added heat not only helped me get deeper into poses but it also simulated playing outdoors in the sun, which further improved my performance. Additionally, I appreciated that I could still attend classes on those days when I was too injured to play. I discovered rest and healing through the practice of yoga. This gave me peace of mind and undoubtedly sped up the recovery process.
I am grateful for the life long relationships this practice has helped me build along the way, both in and out of the studio. All in all, I am just your average guy sharing a gift that has enhanced my life physically, mentally and emotionally.
When I’m not in the studio or my day job, I’m teaching at Goodlife Fitness as a Les Mills certified BodyPump™ and BodyCombat™ instructor. I completed my Modo Yoga foundational training in Nicaragua in 2020 and I can’t wait to meet you!
