On the Anniversary of my joining Modo Yoga Etobicoke, I have to tell you that my experience with all of you has truly changed my life for the better. I am experiencing not only the physical, but the mental benefits as well. Being a part of such a loving supportive community has filled me with such joy! Spring is in the air and the sun is high in the sky, which means serotonin (your “feel good” hormone) and Vitamin D are on the ready to give a little boost to your mood and motivation!
So, let’s take advantage of these longer sunny days, and wake up our sleepy winter bodies with a community wide 30-day challenge that prioritizes daily movement.
Each day in April, you’re encouraged to move your body in a way that feels good to you.
Take a Modo class (we recommend 3-5 times/week), or… aim for 30 minutes/day of dancing around your kitchen, riding your bike (bonus points if it’s to and from the studio ), starting a neighbourhood game of pick-up, jumping on a trampoline, or taking a walk on a nearby trail. The options are limitless!
However you choose to move, you’ll get a checkmark on our studio challenge board for each day that you intentionally move your body. At the end of the challenge, participants from across all Modo Yoga studios will be entered to win 1 of 10 prize packs from Modo Yoga International.
