Debbie began teaching in 2012, after an introduction to yoga in 2004, combining yoga and running. (Running often took the lead) And eventually, a closer look at yoga ensued after recovering from a back injury. Initially hesitant, it was like coming home; and you could say it was ‘love after first sweat ‘! A love for yoga rekindled led to exploring the deeper side of yoga’s benefits and a strong desire to cultivate a sense of peace and healing from the inside-out. As the benefits of yoga unraveled a myriad of corporate ‘ailments’ like stress and anxiety lessened curating that missing link for balance and ultimately following her dreams to Brazil in Jan 2012 for the life-changing Moksha Yoga International Teacher Training.
Her commitment to learning and inspiring others to live a life with passion and mindfulness is a part of her commitment to giving back through community and creating a renewed sense of peace and authenticity on and off the mat. Debbie’s training includes Moksha/Moksha Flow, Vinyasa, Yin, Yin/Yang, Restorative, Anatomy of Yoga and Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness, Yoga Nidra and Street Youth Yoga.
