I chose a career in massage therapy after going for regular massages when I was pregnant with my first daughter. I was so impressed from the pain and stress relief and had a keen interest in human anatomy and physiology. I completed the massage therapy program at Mohawk College in December 2016 and graduated with honours. I am registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
My goal is to work with you in your health and wellness. Through assessment, treatment, education and home care plans, we can work together to achieve your goals. My focus is to listen to your concerns and communicate clearly so you understand what we are treating and why. I encourage all my clients to ask questions and take an active role in their health!
As a health care practitioner, I strive to keep up on the latest research and use an evidence-based approach in my practice. I have a passion for what I do and look forward to applying more specialized skills and techniques through continuing education courses. In the past this has included: Shoulder mobilizations, trigger point therapy, and athletic taping. I have experience treating a range of general health conditions, whether you are looking for stress relief, pain management, or rehabilitation from injury, I invite you to see what massage has to offer!
