I teach: Modo
Why I love teaching: I love teaching because I feel like I’m making a difference in people’s lives. I know that yoga was a game changer in my life and I love that I get to hold space for people to have that same experience. It’s so inspiring to watch students work through the really hard stuff and come out on the other side. It’s such a privilege.
What I love about Modo Yoga: I love the practice, but I think the community is what is the most special about Modo Yoga. We are so lucky to be surrounded by kind, compassionate, friendly, optimistic and overall amazing people each and every day. We are so fortunate to have each other.
When I’m not on my mat, you can find me: Running! My favourite thing to do is canicross which is a sport that I compete in with my dogs. We work as a team and compete all across the maritimes. When we’re not training in harness you can typically catch us running single track trails around Nova Scotia.
What you can expect from my class: You can expect me to bring a lot of energy. I may not be practicing but I’m with you every step of the way, cheering you on. I also love to set intentions for my classes as I feel it can offer new learning opportunities and a new lens from which to see your practice from.
