I teach: Modo, Modo Flow, Yin

Why I love teaching: Yoga is magic for me and teaching is the light of my life. To be a part of something that is simultaneously powerful and gentle humbles me every day. Our students are incredible people. It is a blessing to share in their dedication to this practice. The generosity students show when sharing their insights into their yoga journey moves me deeply. Although teaching requires energy investment, I receive far more from this “work” than I can possibly impart.

If I could tell first-timers one thing, it would be: Just try. Yoga loves when you try. When you are trying, you are doing yoga.

If I could have a superpower, it would be: I already have a superpower, but I won’t bore you with the details…

What you can expect in my class: Anatomical and physiological references. As an RMT, I’m fascinated by the human body, and enjoy sharing knowledge in this way. When students can connect a physical sensation to a fact about their (amazing!) body, the impact is felt more deeply. Encouraging curiosity in the place of judgement is something my own practice has taught me, and I find myself reflecting on this a lot through my teaching.
