Shanta’s yoga journey began so long ago that she can’t even recall her first class — yoga has simply always been a natural part of her life, supporting her healthy and active lifestyle. She became certified in Hatha and Iyengar yoga in 2011 and has been sharing her love of the practice ever since. Today, she continues her teaching with Modo.

For Shanta, yoga is to the body what meditation is to the mind: a space to find balance, strength, and calm.

When she’s not on the mat, Shanta works full-time as a Registered Massage Therapist and loves exploring the Bruce Trail with her husband and two dogs.
