A student first, Andrea blends her formal trainings with her own self-study in both life and practicing yoga. She’s devoted to inspiring others and has taught thousands of students, with a compassionate energy, to explore their potential and connect to their truth. Andrea teaches a heart-centered and alignment-based yoga practice, which empowers the students to go deeper and to ultimately bring their body, mind and heart into union.
An avid practitioner since 2010, Andrea desired to dive deeper into yoga and completed her 500 Hour YTT with Modo Yoga International in 2013. She further diversified her offering through the completion of Bernie Clark’s Yin Yoga Training in 2015, and 200 Hour Vinyasa YTT with Mocean Yoga in 2016. In January 2020 she completed Natalie Rousseau’s Fire and Flow Vinyasa Yoga Intensive Training and Modo Yoga Calm training hosted by Modo Yoga International February 2020.
When not teaching, Andrea loves to travel, to meet new people and hear their stories. She loves the ocean, a really good book and music. She has an appetite for delicious food and enjoys hosting her friends and family to sample her creations. Most of all, she is grateful for her life on Vancouver Island and is most at home with her beloved husband.
Andrea aspires to lead a life of contribution and service to her family, students and community.
