I am a yoga student and teacher. This is a lifelong practice of learning and growing for me. I have adapted my teachings from my various trainings (Modo, Modo Flow, Power Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Mindfulness, and Hatha). I have travelled extensively and I have learned much from other teachers along these journeys. I have gained further experience from teaching in Australia and Nicaragua, as well as in the Youth Detention Centre and CrossFit gyms.
I have been harmonizing my fields of social work, holistic therapy, trauma-informed practices with yoga. I continue to bring forward my learnings from my different fields of practice to our students. I have adopted my focus on sovereignty, mindfulness, self-awareness, and self-compassion through the lens of trauma-informed practice.
I find my yoga everywhere – gardening, running, herbalism, and playing with my dogs. I am an avid wellness and health advocate and nature junkie. I am a firm believer in energetics and trust that the universe is always guiding us to our higher purpose.
