COMMUNITY + EVENTS COORDINATOR (PROJECT BASED)
Modo Yoga LA is looking for a short-term, project-based events coordinator to help us organize a larger scale community event. This position is only for the duration of this community event though other opportunities for community and events coordination may be available in the future.
This role works closely alongside Modo Yoga LA’s Marketing and the Director of Operations.
This role embodies all of the Modo Yoga Pillars and supports vital community building, through their voice, their presence and their actions.

You are a self-starter and take initiative in executing tasks.
You have a consistent yoga practice.
Must be legally allowed to work in the United States.
Accountabilities
Coordinate and execute Modo Musician’s Night from start to finish.
Secure set list of musicians from within our community.
Secure an MC to host the event.
Work with the Marketing Manager to roll out a marketing campaign that gets our whole community excited and registered to attend the event.
The expectation is to fill the venue capacity with our guests from both EP and LB communities (100-200 guests). This will likely involve finding creative ways of inviting our students.
Secure a venue (if we decide not to do the event at the studio) within a provided budget.
Secure sound and lighting equipment as necessary.
Secure and coordinate food and beverage to sponsor our event and coordinate any cross promotion required. If food and beverage is required beyond sponsorship, a budget will be provided.
Coordinate set up of the space for the night of the event, making sure heat is reduced, equipment, food, seating etc is all set up.
Coordinate support for the night of the event and a thorough plan for a clean up crew.
Nuts + Bolts
$24/hour with a maximum budget of 30 hours (unless otherwise approved) to fully execute the event.
