Hannah Dawe (she/her)

Hannah is a Los Angeles based fitness teacher with a passion for movement as a modality for self-understanding, empowerment and joy.

Two decades of study in dance, years of playing soccer, seasons swimming in the pacific – Hannah has always loved movement.  Yet when she tried yoga at fourteen, she wasn’t hooked. Thankfully a few years later the practice found her again and this time she dove into the deep end.

The physical practice infused with the philosophy and meditation component extended the tools to co-regulate the nervous system, enhance resiliency and see how to relate to the flux of life with a kind attention that supported her wellbeing. In 2010 she signed up for her first 200hr teacher training and has since completed over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training through Yoga Woks and Yoga Medicine, as well as a BA in Dance and MA in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University

Through movement, music and metaphor, her intention as a teacher is to help students uncover their unique patterns of body and mind and to develop techniques to navigate the waves of life with more ease. Her sequences are a harmony of movement to create stabilization and to maintain a healthy range of motion, set at a speed to feel both grounded and energized.
