Healing from trauma is a long game, and for Pete, yoga serves as a lifelong practice for self-soothing and quiet observations of growth. He hopes to give his students these same tools by offering inclusive cues and trusting bodies to intuitively find an asana that balances ease and effort. A musician by training, Pete’s classes will likely feature an eclectic blend of shoegaze pop, retro classics, and blissful instrumentals to guide you into your final savasana.
Off the mat, Pete is a dog dad to Yoshi, a very cute terrier-chihuahua mix, and a writer who loves telling stories featuring queer joy. The quickest way to his heart is peanut butter!
Pete has been a part of Modo LA community since 2015, and in 2020 and 2021, he completed his 500 YT and Calm/Yin training with Modo International. He taught virtually with Untamed Yoga in Joshua Tree from 2020-2021 and is tickled to be practicing with his Modo community once again.
