She/Her
Kelly grew up in the Midwest, and eventually moved to Los Angeles to further her artistic endeavors. It was during her first year in LA that she discovered Modo Yoga, and the space offered her a much-needed sense of community, something that would become even more important in the years to come.
A series of health issues coupled with the pandemic led Kelly to deepen her home practice as a means of navigating the turbulence of those times. The rituals of her mat, the grounding of her breath, and the sense of peace that came from each session was transformative, thus leading her on the path to becoming a teacher.
Through her professional work as a voiceover actor and songwriter, Kelly believes in using her voice, words, and musicality as tools for healing. She loves to help students tap into their own capacity for self-soothing by channeling their prana, the calming life force that is their breath. She strives to create an environment where each student can feel a sense of belonging, of home, on their mat.
