Khala Brannigan

Teacher

Khala Brannigan has been teaching yoga for over a decade and holds more than 500 hours of yoga training and certifications earned in Rishikesh, India, San Francisco, CA, and New York City. She also holds an Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certification from Embody Lab. Khala’s journey in movement began at the age of 7 when she started dancing, and she has since built a diverse career as a multidisciplinary artist in San Francisco, New York City, and Los Angeles. Khala’s path as a healer began at 18 when she earned her first GYROTONIC® certification, which sparked her deep passion for yoga, particularly due to its spiritual and healing dimensions. Throughout the highs and lows of her career as a dancer and choreographer, yoga has provided Khala with a grounding and centering force. Her mission to help others connect with the innate wisdom of their bodies is reflected not only in her yoga teachings but also in her artistic practice. She is thrilled to be part of Modo Yoga, where she deeply values the studio’s commitment to alignment and intentional sequencing.
