Modo Yoga is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. It’s a supportive community, a kick-ass workout, and a calming meditation all in one! I leave every class feeling both relaxed and energized, and more able to take on whatever comes my way.
September is National Yoga Month and we’re celebrating with an Open House Weekend.
All classes scheduled on both days are FREE for everyone to attend and we will be giving away some amazing prizes too. Share the news with your friends and family to show them why you love yoga.
Pre-registration is recommended as classes will be busier than usual.
We invite you to connect the Sun, Moon & Earth for the Fall Equinox by moving through 108 Sun Salutations. During the autumnal equinox, the sun shines directly on the equator, and the northern and southern hemispheres get the same amount of rays. The Autumn Equinox is a meaningful time of year to honor the harvest. Whether that be a “real” harvest of the things planted in your garden or the harvest of efforts and intentions for your life path that you set earlier in the year.
There is said to be a total of 108 energy lines converging to and from the heart chakra. The significance to the number 108 dates back to ancient yogic teachings, breathe and move while connecting to all 108 sacred places in the body. There will be modifications available at all times as this class is accessible for everyone and will be led by several of our instructors.
Let’s open the doors of the most magical space in our body and fall back in love with ourselves again, the most important muscle – EMOTIONAL MUSCLE.
In this two hour specialized session we will:
Be prepared to enter an extended state of tranquility in this special 90 minute Yin Yoga class. Mauro will be guiding you through the yin postures while Amanda and Krissy incorporate massage and adjustments that will help deepen your practice. During the class, Emily will be serenading us with gentle music in a way that only Emily can.
