We do not offer refunds. All clothing and accessories purchased in our retail space can be exchanged within 14 days of the date of purchase.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with the price tag still on as well.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be exchanged. Sale items are all final sale.
CLASSES START ON TIME: To respect everyone’s time, we start the classes at the scheduled time. We highly recommend ARRIVE EARLY. Doors are always open 30 minutes before class. Late arrivals are not permitted in class.
RESERVATIONS: You can make your class reservations via the app or website from your account associated with your email. Pre-registration is available starting 7 days in advance and up to 30 minutes before class starts. If you pre-register for class, you are guaranteed a spot provided that you’re checked in at the front desk at least 10 minutes before class begins. If not then you will lose your reservation and we will start accepting walk ins that arrive on a first come first serve basis.
CANCELLING RESERVATIONS: If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation online as early as possible – avoid leaving this to the last minute. Doing this allows someone who is waitlisted to be confirmed in the class. You can cancel up to 4 hours before class starts with no penalty. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to check our email or voicemail in time, so please cancel your reservation online only.
RESERVATION POLICY FEES: You can still “late cancel” less than 4 hours before class begins – your account will still be charged a $10 penalty fee, but at least we get a heads up that you won’t be coming, so we can give the spot away to someone else.
Failing to cancel your reservation at all will result in a “No Show” and a $10 penalty fee. If something beyond your control happens and it’s an emergency situation, please reach out and let us know via email, and we will not charge the penalty fee.
Please note that anyone on a class card will lose a class from their class card package instead of being charged the $10 penalty fee.

ACTIVATION DATE: This pass will activate on the date of your first class.

Thank you for choosing to practice at Modo Yoga Maple. We look forward to being a part of your yoga journey! Look at our flexible class card options at the end of your Introductory Offer if you want to practice once a week or less. If you prefer a more regular schedule of at least 9 times per month, the best value is our Modo Membership.
ACTIVATION DATE: Your Modo Membership activates on the date of first use or the date that you selected at the time of purchase. Please ensure that your credit card is current and you have sufficient funds.
VACATION: You can request to suspend your membership for up to 30 days once per year. Additional time/suspensions can be added for a $10/week fee. Suspension requests must be submitted in writing to info@modoyogamaple.com at least 7 business days in advance of the suspension period with the start and end date of the hold.
GUEST INTRO PASSES: Introduce your friends and family members to our studio for free to help you build your yoga community. You have 5 Guest Passes available per month. If these passes aren’t used in a month, they do not transfer over to the next month.
CONDITIONS: This is a recurring monthly auto-renew membership. This pass can be used for all classes on our regular schedule (not including specialty classes and workshops). This membership is non-transferable and non-refundable. If there are price increases to the Modo Membership, the current price is guaranteed for 1 year from the increased price.
CANCELLING AUTO-RENEW: We require at least 30 days written notice to cancel all memberships by emailing our Yoga Advisor Emily at yogaadvisor@modoyogamaple.com. Please note that you cannot sign back at the current rate once cancelled.
MEDICAL SUSPENSIONS: If you require a suspension for medical reasons such as illness or injury, please email us at with a doctor’s note.
We understand that waiting lists can feel frustrating at times, but you must trust the process! Space almost always opens up — usually, not until the same day as class. Be prepared, and make sure you cancel your waiting list reservation at least 4 hours in advance if you can’t make it after all — otherwise, you could lose a class or be charged a penalty fee. Make sure you have an active payment on your account for every waitlist spot you reserve — if your spot is unpaid and room on the waiting list opens up, your place can’t be guaranteed until paid for.
Cancel your spot at least 4 HOURS IN ADVANCE if you can’t make it, so someone else can come to class.
Late Cancellation: Canceling reservation less than 4 hrs before class
No Show: You do not show up to class.
TIP: Turn on your text alerts! This is the best way to confirm your spot, it’s automatic. If you answer the text, you do not need to respond to the email. We love hearing from you, but when you confirm by email, your reservation has to be updated manually. Text confirmations are instant and ensure that you won’t lose your spot.
In order to respect our insurance policy and to ensure everyone’s safety, the minimum age to practice at our studio is 16 years of age.
Periodically, promotions will be emailed to our students and/or advertised via social media. Typically these promotions are available for a short duration. Once the stated deadline for purchase is over, we are no longer able to honour the promotion.
If you purchase a promotional class card, it will have an expiration date. If the class card expires before all classes have been used, you may pay the difference in cost between the promotional price and the current price (non discounted price) and then use the remainder of the card.
