Modo, Prenatal, Yin, Breathwork & Meditation Instructor
Lyn’s personal exploration into yoga started more than two decades ago when paths crossed with a Tibetan Buddhist teacher. Finding herself a solo student with private guidance, she studied Hatha Yoga and Chi Gong and developed a strong meditation practice. It has always been about the mind/body connection for me, says Lyn.
It seemed a natural thing for Lyn to do her Modo training in India in the spring of 2008. Continuing with her asana education Lyn became certified in Yin in 2010, Prenatal Yoga in 2012, in 2013 she studied Restorative Yoga and in 2014 took advanced study of her most beloved practice of Yin.
Her spiritual trainings have also continued. Lyn has found guidance through the wisdom of a combination of eastern and western introspective traditions, by modern neuroscience research and insights into emotional healing. She has studied Tibetan, Hindu, Korean, and Vipassana meditation and holds a certification as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher through UMass.
