Melissa first found yoga in 2010 after a sports related injury. She was looking for a gentle form of movement to serve as another form of rehabilitation. It is safe to say after the first few classes she was absolutely in love with this practice, feeling a deep connection and a sense of peace. It became more then just a form of exercise.
After many years of practicing, Melissa was motivated to expand her knowledge and understanding of this practice which led her to complete her 500 hour Vinyasa certification in Newport Beach, California in 2012. After her teaching journey began she felt compelled to know more and completed her Moksha Yoga level 1 in Kelowna, BC in the summer of 2016 and Moksha Flow in NYC of May 2017.
