I am 58 years young, married to an awesome man – we have been together since I was 29 years old. I have two daughters, 38 and 36, who both practice at the studio.
My yoga journey began in 2012. I was an annual member for two years to 2014. I loved it so much that I joined the Energy Exchange program for 2015/2016 knowing full well I wanted to teach so I was approved to train in Nicaragua in 2017. While I was at training I decided to retire from my full-time job.
My interests are mostly physical activity such as hiking, biking, running, but of course yoga daily in addition to daily meditation. I am just beginning to teach Barre, plus I take barre classes whenever I can! I plan on taking Modo Fit in Cambridge and Modo Flow training in Vancouver in 2018 to further myself.
I reside here in Milton. I volunteer at Allendale Nursing home visiting residents and engaging them three times a week, particularly my sister-in-law’s mom. I also volunteer at Halton Women’s Place in Milton and Oakville, bringing meditation and yoga to women who have been through abuse (a cause that is near to my heart). I adore my little shi tzu Niki as well as all animals on this planet.
