How much is tuition and what does this include?

Tuition for this training is $1,400 CAD.

Accommodations, meals and flights are not included in your tuition.

PLEASE NOTE: This teacher training is non-refundable after 72 hours of purchase. If a refund is requested within 72 hours of purchase, funds will be returned less a $200 processing fee. After 72 hours of purchase, your training tuition becomes transferable only, and must be used within 2 years of purchase.

Accommodations for the in-person portion of this training is $1,400 USD. This includes lodging and meals at Amaru Resort and an airport shuttle. This does not include your flight to Nicaragua.

All trainees are required to secure their own flights. A link to book your accommodations at Amaru Resort will be provided upon registration.

To attend this training you must have first completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training. 

This training will take place at Amaru Resort in Nicaragua.

At the Modo Flow Training, teachers will learn how to teach the Modo Flow series… one of our most popular class types.

You will also continue building on your foundational understanding of the practice, strengthening your anatomy knowledge, and refining your teaching skills through interactive exercises and one-on-one feedback sessions.

Elements of sequencing, and how to structure your classes around a specific theme, intention, or anatomical focus will also be explored.

More specifically, you will learn:

  • Key Principles of Vinyasa
  • History of Vinyasa
  • Posture Workshops
  • Basic Introduction to the Bandhas
  • How to work on language use
  • How to find the rhythm of vinyasa
  • Class structures and themes

Yes. In order to graduate from the Modo Yoga Teacher Training, and earn your certificate as a Modo Yoga Teacher, you must complete all 50 hours of the e-course and attend all sessions, lectures, and classes during the training.

There are 2 books on the required reading list.

Yes. The Modo Yoga Teacher Training is recognized by the Yoga Alliance as a 200-hour teacher training.

No.

The completion of the Modo Yoga Teacher Training does not guarantee you a teaching position at your local Modo Yoga Studio.

If you are interested in teaching at your local Modo Yoga Studio, we strongly recommend that you check in with your local studio owner to see if any opportunities are available.

With that being said, we empower trainees throughout the training to create their own teaching opportunities as an independent yoga teacher.
