Chakra (cakra in Sanskrit) means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. There are 7 main energy points that run along the spine. When these centres become blocked, a tune-up is needed to revitalize your personal energy and bring vitality back to your body and life. In this 7-week Chakra tune-up series, we will explore the physical, spiritual and emotional aspects of each chakra. Every class will include a brief introduction to the chakra, the associated mantra and specific yoga postures designed to awaken each energy centre. We will then use the power of hypnosis to fully integrate the body with the mind, creating a synergy between the two. The yoga practice is designed for beginners, no previous experience will be necessary. For the full experience, we recommend you plan to attend the entire series, however, drop-ins are welcome. Each week you will receive a crystal that corresponds to the chakra and a handout with chakra description, corresponding mantras and yoga postures.
Props: A Yoga mat, blanket, eye mask, a bolster, or a pillow.
Note: Please avoid caffeine 4 hours prior to the workshop. Please make sure to be in a quiet space where you can avoid distractions and avoid the risk of being accidentally interrupted.
