How did you first discover yoga? I first discovered yoga during a meditation retreat in Edmonton, Alberta.
What is your approach to managing the studio? I want our studio to feel friendly, inviting, kind and organized. It is important to me to do the best I can and communicate kindly and effectively.
What do you hope to bring to the Modo Yoga Nanaimo community? I hope to inspire those around me to expand their consciousness and awareness and incorporate even more compassion and kindness into their lives toward themselves and others!
Which Modo Pillar speaks to you the most right now? Be Community: We can achieve so much when we support one another, help each other, and be the best we can be.
What has been the greatest influence on your yoga and/or sound bath practices?
What do you do when not at the studio? I read and study a lot about holistic approaches, ancient practices, and ancient cultures and civilizations. I enjoy being in nature and staying active. I also really enjoy having time to simply “be”, and when time allows, I can easily enter meditative trances and disappear into another world! And, of course, singing and playing instruments is very high on the list.
