Why I love teaching: The practice has been transformative, physically, mentally and, for lack of a better word, spiritually in my life. I love sharing that with my students and observing the way the practice changes them.  

What I love about Modo Yoga: The heat, the Pillars, the community, and the knowledgeable, well-trained teachers.

If I could give one piece of advice to new students, it would be: Go slow and pay attention to what your body is telling you. Know that your body is the perfect yoga body. 

What I’m most passionate about: I love learning new things and challenging myself to grow and improve as a human being. Among my greatest passions are teaching math at VIU, acting, riding horses and, of course, yoga.
