Why I love teaching: Presence and attention are deeply important human potentials worth cultivating. I love the great privilege of teaching yoga because it creates the space for others to turn toward these essential ingredients needed for healing, insight, wisdom, and relationship.

What I love about Modo Yoga: Community support and making the gift of yoga highly accessible to many walks of life.

If I could give one piece of advice to new students, it would be: Don’t be afraid to ask teachers questions and keep practicing – the progress and the answers will come, on AND off the mat

What you can expect in my class: You can expect firstly an acknowledgement of our shared humanness and the realities of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual life, combined with an appreciation for the science and historical roots of yoga, a philosophical sincerity tempered with doses of humour, all woven into a strong meditative physical and dynamic practice with the invitation to both challenge and compassionately meet your body-mind where you’re at in the moment.
