Instagram & Facebook
If you’d like to join us for live classes online, you’ll have to have an Instagram account. You must download the app from the App Store or Google Play store. Instructions on joining Instagram can be found here. Instagram has a web browser view and a mobile app, and to watch live streams, you need to have the mobile app installed on your smart phone. Live streams aren’t supported in the web browser view.
Once you’re joined up, you’ll need to follow our 4 studios: @modoyogamontreal, @modoyogandg, @modoyogawestisland, @modoyogagriffintown to access the full range of our offerings.
When we share a live video, our profile picture/logo will appear at the top of Feed with a colourful ring around it and the word Live.

If you are following us and you miss the start of a video, you will also likely receive a notification from Instagram a few seconds after it begins, to ensure you can access the video if you want. You can simply tap on this notification and it will bring you straight to the live video.
Keep in mind that when you start viewing, the person sharing and anyone else who’s viewing may be able to see that you’ve joined. While viewing the livestream, you can tap Comment at the bottom of the screen to leave a comment, and tap ❤️ to “like” the video. Anyone who’s viewing the video can see when you like or comment.
We will do our best to share a live video replay of the class (sometimes it is not possible due to technical errors). When we share this to our story, you’ll see it at the top of feed with a play button and colourful ring around it. While viewing a live video replay, you can tap the right or left side of the screen to skip forwards or backwards. If someone has shared multiple live video replays, you can tap the arrows at the top of the screen to skip between them. While you can’t comment on a live video replay, you can respond with a direct message!

Follow us on facebook in order to be notified when we are LIVE. When we broadcast on Facebook Live, you’ll receive a notification that we are LIVE and can choose to follow us. Live streams will also appear in your news feed or you can search for them
