UNLIMITED MONTHLY AUTO-RENEW MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT
Agreement Terms and conditions:
Payment is required at the time of purchase Agreement Date, and is non-refundable.
Modo Yoga Newmarket will charge customer’s credit card on file the Recurring Payment Amount + TAX, on a monthly basis, for the purpose of the customer’s membership fee under the terms and conditions of the customer’s Unlimited Monthly Auto-Renew Membership Agreement.
This Membership is valid at both Modo Yoga Newmarket and Modo Yoga Aurora.
This membership does not expire, and Modo Yoga Newmarket will continue to bill the customer’s Credit Card on a monthly basis.
Membership Cancellation:
Modo Yoga Newmarket requires THIRTY (30) days written notice on an active membership (i.e. a membership that is not suspended or on a hold), before the next scheduled payment, by completing the cancellation form in person at the studio, OR by sending an email to:

Access to an unlimited amount of classes at both Modo Yoga Newmarket and Modo Yoga Aurora. This excludes: Specialty classes/events, and Workshops.
Access could change if Modo Yoga Newmarket / Modo Yoga Aurora are under capacity restrictions due to circumstances outside of their control. If Capacity restrictions are in effect the “Unlimited” aspect of this membership may be limited.
Modo Yoga Newmarket must be updated of any change in Credit Card information (i.e. expiry date, or lost or stolen cards) within five (5) days of the next pre-authorized payment. If payment is not received then an additional charge of $25.00 will be applied to the credit card on file seven (7) days after the original payment was due.
Membership Holds:
We require 7 days notice in writing to activate a hold.

Modo Yoga Newmarket will allow a hold up to a maximum total of 90 days of holds in one calendar year. A $25 fee will be charged for each and every hold request placed, regardless of the length of the hold. We require an additional one month’s membership payment to activate any extended hold that is more than 30 days in length up to a maximum of 90 days in a calendar year. This fee is not refundable if a membership is cancelled while on hold.
If a membership is canceled, and later the customer decides to join a Monthly Auto-Renew Membership again; a new contract will need to be signed, and the new contract terms and fees will apply.
Being a Monthly Auto-Renew member does not give a customer special priority over any other members at Modo Yoga Newmarket or Modo Yoga Aurora.
Membership fees are subject to change and are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be shared with any other person.

DOWNLOAD AND USE THE MODO YOGA APP TO PROPERLY MANAGE ALL OF YOUR CLASS BOOKINGS. ALWAYS CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE ‘SIGNED INTO’ THE APP WHEN YOU GO TO CHECK YOUR BOOKINGS.
Online Booking is available at 9am, 7 days in advance.
THE APP WILL SHOW YOU WHETHER YOU ARE IN A CLASS, OR IF YOU GOT INTO A CLASS FROM THE WAIT-LIST, OR IF YOU ARE ON A WAIT-LIST FOR A CLASS.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MANAGE ALL OF YOUR CLASS BOOKINGS. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE TO BOOK CLASSES FOR YOU.

CLASS RESERVATION CANCELLATION POLICY
A 3 hour cancellation notice is required and must be done through the on-line system to avoid any and all late/no-show charges. We do not accept phone, email or text cancellations.
NO SHOW CHARGE
A No Show charge occurs when you are signed up for a class and do not show up OR cancel.
A Late Cancel charge occurs when you cancel after that 3 hour mark before class starts.
Both No Show & Late Cancel charges are $15+tax for all classes.
If you used a credit package to make the class reservation/booking; then your credit package will be used for any No Show or Late Cancel reservations.
Sorry, but we cannot make individual exceptions. Just know that you have until 20 MINUTES before the class starts to add yourself in, so you can always wait until you know you can for sure make it to save your spot!
The following are approved of 1 hour hot yoga classes:
-16 years old and up unaccompanied
– 14 and 15 years old accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian).
*Parent or guardian must sign our Age to Practice Form (inquire about details at our reception desk)
No Refunds, No Transfers, Not shareable, No additional discounts can be applied.
EVEN if you Cancel the workshop within the 72 hour late cancel window, you will NOT be given a refund for the Workshop/Event purchase.
Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter Workshops/Events. No refunds will be issued in this case.
Periodically, promotions will be emailed to our students and/or advertised via social media. Typically these promotions are available for a short duration.
Once the stated deadline for purchase is over, we are no longer able to honor the promotion.
All Sales are Final, No Refunds on Promotional Purchases, No Exceptions!
If you purchase a promotional class card, it will have an expiration date.
PURPOSE
Modo Yoga International’s mission is to grow our community of studios, teachers and students with the aim of sharing yoga with as many people as possible and therefore creating more peace in the world. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the organization to ensure that all Modo Yoga studios and teacher trainings are free from harassment and abuse. Modo Yoga International will not tolerate any form of harassment that violates this Policy.
PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Modo Yoga International prohibits the conduct outlined below by all employees, sub-contracted staff and volunteers working at a Modo Yoga studio or at Modo Yoga International, as well as clients of Modo Yoga studios.
APPLICABILITY
This Policy applies to all Modo Yoga International and Modo Yoga studio workers in any context or environment where a worker presents themself (or is presented) as an employee, sub contracted staff and volunteers, including but not limited to: group and private yoga instruction in Modo Yoga studios, gymnasiums, fitness clubs, other schools and universities, medical facilities, group homes, prisons, public spaces, festivals, retreats; and all online spaces, including social media.
Seek Active Inclusion: Workers SHOULD seek to actively include, accommodate, and welcome persons who are typically excluded on the basis named above in ‘Avoid Discrimination’ as a committed practice towards creating equity.
Provide Reasonable Accommodations: Workers SHOULD understand and facilitate to the best of their ability reasonable accommodations for people with different physical abilities.
Workers should be committed to applying strong ethical principles in their professional and personal lives, and this should be understood as intrinsic to their practice and teaching of yoga.
Activities covered by this Policy shall be distinguished from the purely private conduct of workers, which is beyond the purview of this Policy.
DEFINITIONS
HARASSMENT
Harassment is unwelcome verbal or non-verbal conduct where: (i) the conduct denigrates or shows hostility or aversion towards the person and has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with their work, study, or other activity, (ii) enduring the offensive conduct becomes a condition of the continued relationship, and/or (iii) the conduct has the purpose or effect of creating an environment that a reasonable person would consider intimidating, hostile, or abusive.
Harassment includes epithets, slurs, name calling, negative stereotyping, insults, intimidation, ridicule, threatening, intimidating or hostile acts, denigrating jokes, and display of written or graphic material that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward an individual or group based on their protected characteristic.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to: offensive verbal comments related to age, gender, gender identity, pronoun use, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, religion, body type, personal appearance, physical or mental ability, socioeconomic status, marital status, political activities or affiliation, or any other basis proscribed by local, state, provincial, national, and federal laws and regulations; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording; sustained and intentional disruption of class or other events; and inappropriate physical contact.
RETALIATION
Retaliation is any adverse action or threat taken or made against an individual, including through third parties and/or legal counsel, for making a report of prohibited conduct or participating in any investigation or proceeding related to this Policy. Retaliation includes threatening, intimidating, harassing, or any other conduct that would discourage a reasonable person from engaging in activity protected under this Policy. Retaliation also includes maliciously and/or intentionally interfering with, threatening, or harming the academic or professional career or reputation of another individual before, during, or after the Investigation, Decision, and resolution of a report of prohibited conduct under this Policy in response to and/or on account of the report of the prohibited conduct. This provision applies to reports made or information provided in good faith, even if the facts alleged in the report are determined not to be accurate.
