Sara Rose

Teacher

Sara Rose’s movement journey began in childhood through ballet and competitive dance, and she fell in love with yoga at 14 after discovering Bikram, yoga. Sara completed her Modo Yoga teacher training in Nicaragua in 2025, where she focused on mindfulness, philosophy, compassion, accessibility, and inclusivity as part of yoga practice. Sara currently works at a non-profit as a compassionate advocate for vulnerable seniors who experience multiple barriers to wellness; she also serves as a Seniors Activity Coach and facilitates peer-support mental health groups in Kitsilano. After completing her Master’s in Counselling, she is now transitioning into a career as a counsellor with a specialization in trauma. Sara’s classes offer a grounding, meditative flow with an emphasis on presence, clarity, and return to self. Outside the studio, Sara enjoys baking sourdough, caring for tropical plants, exploring nature around Vancouver, and spending time with her dog Remington and her two cats.
