As a professional dancer and choreographer in NYC Jennifer began exploring yoga over 2 decades ago to find support and balance in her dancing. She soon discovered hot yoga and the vast benefits of this practice, particularly the focus, attention and presence it required. Since then it has become so much more to her. It’s become a beautiful community of people, and a daily ritual to maintain mental and physical health and well being.
It was a long time dream of hers to learn to teach and share her love of yoga with others, and she finally had the chance to complete her 200 hr. Certification with Modo Yoga in Gibsons B.C. in 2022. With a focus on specific anatomical and directional cues, it is Jennifer’s goal to create a supportive
and safe environment for yoga practitioners of all levels and experience, to explore this intelligent series of postures in their unique bodies, to build a strong foundation in order to discover their edges, and to harness the power of movement and breath when united.
