Lindsay began teaching at Modo Yoga in February 2014 and has grown to represent the company as a Senior Teacher and Teacher Mentor. Born and raised in Michigan, she has lived and traveled all over the country, making New York City her home now for over a decade. She is a lifelong dancer, having spent the past 13 years on Broadway. She has completed her 500hr Hatha and 100 hr Vinyasa trainings with Modo Yoga, 75hr Advanced Training with Dina Tsouluhas and David Testo, and a Yin certification with Kate Kuss. Additionally, she is a certified Pilates teacher through the Kane School at Kinected NYC and a Meditation Guide through the tutelage of Joni Pollard.
Her classes aim to be creative and intelligent. They are multi-faceted, guided by the breath and her knowledge of movement and wellness in a wide array of modalities. Each class will find you rooted in alignment and the ability to unlock your potential while moving safely and building a strong foundation.
In the past year Lindsay gained a new role of Health and Wellness Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. This path led her to begin a business called GroundWell, an online program that facilitates meaningful change to those seeking physical, mental, and nutritional transformation. Her approach to coaching is led from a place of kindness, compassion, and deep understanding of individuality.
