As a lifelong athlete and performer, Sarah discovered her yoga practice in 2008 after injuries left her unable to maintain her normal fitness routine. What started as a supplemental practice to help her heal became an exciting new passion. Sarah first found Modo while living in Los Angeles in 2014. She was inspired by the alignment-focused practice, which married the physical and spiritual benefits of yoga. Sarah is thrilled to be teaching with Modo Yoga NYC after her 500 hour teacher training in Nicaragua. Her love for this beautiful practice and community grows more and more every day. She is honored to be able to share it with her students and to continue to learn and grow with it.
Sarah is a lover of the arts in myriad forms, of travel, of good conversation and of even better food. She is passionate about life’s journey and the beautiful people and places she gets to connect to within it.
